DESCRIPTION:Join us for a Live In-Person Kabbalah Ascension Journey\nWhat is Kabbalah?\nKabbalah is a comprehensive spiritual & philosophical system.  Kabbalah teaches us deep metaphysics – about the nature of God\, the structure of the cosmos – and about our own truest nature.  In our tradition\, Kabbalah is a path of deep study but it is also so much more: it is a path of progression all on its own.  In our lineage\, we are initiated into the Tree of Life; indeed there are numerous initiations within the path of progression of the study of Kabbalah. \nKabbalah is designed to help us have a greater understanding of ourselves\, the world around us and of Divine Source. Universal in nature\, it is free from religious dogma and is a pure source of personal development and cultivation. The Tree of Life is like the treasure map that helps us discover the fruits of this Ancient Wisdom and is indeed the blueprint for all creation. \nThe word Kabbalah means “to receive” or “that which is received”. You receive in Kabbalah in direct proportion to how much you are ready to receive – in other words\, to how clear and ready you can become.  We work with you on this in Kabbalah.  Kabbalah teaches that you already have all the answers within\, by asking the right questions\, gain access to a hidden wellspring of knowledge that will not only answer the yearnings of your soul\, but will also totally change your view of reality. By delving into yourself in this way you not only discover who you are\, but also\, who you are not! So you can release the potent grip of your negative ego and regain control of your life. \nKabbalah is many things to us\, all of them profound\n\nA path of progression.  A path of progression that stands on its own\, independent of any other path in our lineage or society.\nA path of initiations.\nA place of deep esoteric and metaphysical truths.\nA way to know God.\nA way to know the cosmos\, the spiritual structure of the universe\, and how all the parts fit together.\nA way to know ourselves\, in every part of our beings.  To pursue that knowing both at a surface level as well as an intensely deep level.\nA way to get to know and enter into relationship with an enormous number of amazing beings who wish to help us and work with us.\nA path of personal growth and transformation.\nA path that keeps on giving\, no matter how many times we walk it.  It is endless.\n\nSimply put\, Kabbalah is a profoundly effective system of true self-awareness and empowerment. \nHow we Engage with Kabbalah\nIn our tradition\, Kabbalah is a year-long path of progression.  During this year\, we will: \n\nMeet in person 3 times in the year for 1 or 2-day seminars\nMeet once for a final three day retreat in an isolated retreat setting.\nMeet monthly (online) for group study and teaching.\nReceive weekly guidance via e-mail and video to help us stay on track.\nHave access to teachers who have walked this path for collectively over half a century.\nReceive a student manual and 12 study guides.\nImmerse ourselves in the vast universe of written material about Kabbalah Work\nOur mission is to guide you along the path that is Kabbalah\, but in this program you have to do the work of walking the path.  The Tree of Life invites you to engage with it with respect\, awe\, and reverence.  (And joy!  And inspiration!  And even fun!)  This is a path\, and we need to walk the path\, and the metaphor of walking a path implies that we have some work to do here.  Deeply fruitful\, incredibly wonderful\, really not terribly hard work — but nevertheless\, you do need to set aside some time every month for this.  We will be: \n\nEngaging in reading and personal study\nEngaging in introspection and reflection\nDoing rituals\nDoing meditations\nEntering into a relationship with a whole system of energy and many beings\, which implies that we spend some time investing in that relationship\nWorking on growing & changing\n\nYou might consider that you would spend on average 3-5 hours per week investing in your journey of Kabbalah.  That’s 3-5 undistracted hours.  Serious students will stretch that to 8-10 hours\, and students who wish to have an easier journey may spend more like 3-4 hours. \nThis Is a Lifelong Journey\nIn our tradition\, we do not engage in this journey with the Tree of Life once.  We engage with it over and over and over again.  Each time we learn more\, we go deeper\, we grow bigger\, we become who we really are meant to be just a little more (or maybe a lot more). \nMany of us have been on this journey 5\, 10 or more times.  We are still growing.  We are still eager for the next journey.  This is a path that keeps on We will enrol you automatically. \nAre all the classes in Portland?\nYes\, all of the classes are in Portland.  We are still assessing where to hold the final weekend but Portland is a likely candidate. \nOn the day of …\nInformation to help you orient on the day of class. \nWhen should I arrive?\nPlease arrive around 30 minutes before the start time to get settled.  We will start at the start time listed for this event.  If the classroom doors are closed when you arrive please wait until we open the doors as we are doing energy setting to prepare the space as a temple for you. \nGuardians – please arrive at the time noted on the calendar for energy setting. \nWhere should I park?\nWe have arranged with the city to have day-use parking passes available.  These are available for purchase at cost in the store on site or you can pre-purchase them ahead of the event if you prefer.  Please do not park on the street without a parking pass as you will need to move your car every few hours which becomes quite disruptive. \nCan I bring food?\nAbsolutely – bring snacks and drinks.  We only have one small fridge to share amongst everyone\, so generally the fridge is reserved for drinks and medicine storage.  Bring food that does not need to be refrigerated. \nHealthOur gatherings involve all of us coming together from far and wide.  We have people in our community who are elderly\, and also people with compromised immune systems.  So\, out of care for ourselves and our community\, please consider the following: \nIf you are sick: \n\nIf you are sick\, we encourage you to stay home.  We will do everything we can to support your progression if you stay home due to illness.\nIf you get sick during the time you are at our gathering\, you must wear a mask.  Please do not remove your mask.  If you need to drink\, stick a straw under your mask.  When you need to eat\, please move well away from others prior to eating.\n\nIf you have been exposed to someone who is sick: \n\nIf you have been exposed to someone who is sick within the five days prior to our gathering\, you are welcome to attend as long as you are symptom-free.  Please rigorously wear a mask throughout the gathering.\n\nFor everyone: \n\nWe will make hand sanitizer and sanitizing wipes available at all of our gatherings.  We encourage everyone to use these regularly on your hands and on surfaces.\nAs a point of courtesy\, if you are asked to wear a mask\, please wear one.\n\nIf you have concerns about someone who appears ill and is not masking\, please address it with them.  If you still feel concerned after this\, feel free to bring this to the attention of any admin or teaching team member\, and they can work to resolve it with the person.Can I use a laptop to type notes?\nNo.  You are welcome to hand write notes.  This is a part of the energetic handing down process; your notes will hold the energy of the class material and of the temple room as the energy flows through you and onto the page. \nPlease note that there is no video recording\, no audio recording\, no computers\, and no typing notes.  Hand written notes only. \nCan I bring my phone into class?\nWe ask that everyone leave their phone outside of class\, as the classroom is a sacred temple space\, and phones going off can be disruptive to our work together.  We will take breaks where you can check your phones. \nWill we take a lunch break?\nWe will take a lunch break.  You are welcome to go out and eat at one of the nearby restaurants.  You are also welcome to eat in the classroom. \nWhen will we end for the day?\nWe do not know.  We will end when we are finished.  Please do not make other commitments for the evening. \nWho should I reach out to with questions?\nPlease contact us using our contact form. \nRecording\nWe record video and audio of all of our events\, mainly to support our students and for curriculum development.
