SUMMARY:Wicca ~ The Magick of Fire
DESCRIPTION:Join us as we dive into Natural Magick as a path of empowerment!\nWicca is the great art of working with the Elements in Harmony with the Divine. \nIn our tradition\, we do not start by teaching you about wicca or even about magick.  Instead\, we create magick together!  Magick that you can then take into your lives and make work for you\, to create a better life in whatever way is important to you! \nIn this full-day seminar\, you will get to explore the magick of the element of fire. Fire is initiation!  Fire is transformation!  Fire is passion!  Fire is POWERFUL!  And the practice of working with fire brings us incredible gifts we can bring into our life and put to use immediately. \nThis workshop includes both theory as well as practical spell making.  You will get to work magick to make your life better right in class and feel the effects for days and weeks to come. \nIn the old ways\, Natural Magick was the path to empowerment.  We are being called to return to these old ways\, and integrate them fully into our lives.  This magickal tradition contains the keys to activating the Divine Goddess / God within each of us! \nWho can attend\nEveryone is welcome to attend! \n\nYou do not need to have attended Wicca Earth\, Water\, or Air to attend this class.\nThis is a 1 day class.  We will not break this class across 2 days the way we did with Wicca Earth.  You can attend this class and be assured you will receive the entire curriculum.\n\nPlease note this is a full-day in person class.  It is not offered online. \nWhat to bring with you\n\nYour grimoire\nA notebook to take class notes in\nPens and pencils\n\nInvestment\nThe cost to attend this full-day program is $350.  There is a needs-based option to contribute less for those who find the requested amount a challenge.  There is also an option to contribute a little more as an act of generosity to support someone else’s learning experience.  In this way\, we can all support each other as a community to have a wonderful learning experience and a good progression.  Thank you for your generosity in supporting our work and our community.  No one will be turned away for lack of funds; if you need to make an alternate arrangement feel free to reach out to our finance team. \nAll of your contributions go to support our work in the world.  Your contributions may be tax deductible; we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. \nOn the day of…\nWhen should I arrive?\nPlease arrive around 30 minutes before the start time to get settled.  We will start at the start time listed for this event.  If the classroom doors are closed when you arrive please wait until we open the doors as we are doing energy setting to prepare the space as a temple for you. \nWhere should I park?\nWe have arranged with the city to have day-use parking passes available.  These are available for purchase at cost in the store on site or you can pre-purchase them ahead of the event if you prefer.  Please do not park on the street without a parking pass as you will need to move your car every few hours which becomes quite disruptive. \nCan I bring food?\nAbsolutely – bring snacks and drinks.  We only have one small fridge to share amongst everyone\, so generally the fridge is reserved for drinks and medicine storage.  Bring food that does not need to be refrigerated. \nHealth\nOur gatherings involve all of us coming together from far and wide.  We have people in our community who are elderly\, and also people with compromised immune systems.  So\, out of care for ourselves and our community\, please consider the following: \nIf you are sick: \n\nIf you are sick\, we encourage you to stay home.  We will do everything we can to support your progression if you stay home due to illness.\nIf you get sick during the time you are at our gathering\, you must wear a mask.  Please do not remove your mask.  If you need to drink\, stick a straw under your mask.  When you need to eat\, please move well away from others prior to eating.\n\nFor everyone: \n\nWe will make hand sanitizer and sanitizing wipes available at all of our gatherings.  We encourage everyone to use these regularly on your hands and on surfaces.\nAs a point of courtesy\, if you are asked to wear a mask\, please wear one.\n\nIf you have concerns about someone who appears ill and is not masking\, please address it with them.  If you still feel concerned after this\, feel free to bring this to the attention of any admin or teaching team member\, and they can work to resolve it with the person. \nCan I use a laptop to type notes?\nNo.  You are welcome to hand write notes.  This is a part of the energetic handing down process; your notes will hold the energy of the class material and of the temple room as the energy flows through you and onto the page. \nPlease note that there is no video recording\, no audio recording\, no computers\, and no typing notes.  Hand written notes only. \nCan I bring my phone into class?\nWe ask that everyone turn off their phones in class\, as the classroom is a sacred temple space\, and phones going off can be disruptive to our work together.  We will take breaks where you can check your phones. \nWill we take a lunch break?\nWe will take a lunch break.  You are welcome to go out and eat at one of the nearby restaurants.  You are also welcome to eat in the classroom. \nWhen will we end for the day?\nWe do not know when we will end.  We will end when we are finished.  Please do not make other commitments for the evening. \nWho should I reach out to with questions?\nPlease contact the admin team. \nRecording\nWe record video and audio of all of our events\, mainly to support our students and for curriculum development.
