Sacred symbols have the ability to reach beyond the egoic, to connect with us at an unconscious level and to communicate its meaning to us at a level that reaches beyond the prison of the mind.   They bring the essence of divinity down and instil it within the symbol.  Wearing them can help remind us of our own divinity by connecting to this state of being or consciousness.
